Size Guide

Found a necklace or bracelet but not sure what length to choose?

Don't worry! There are several ways to find the right necklace length for you.

Method 1 — Measure an existing necklace

If you already own a necklace at the length you like, simply measure its length with a ruler (while it's open).

Method 2 — Measure with a string around the neck

What you need:

  • Measuring tape / ruler
  • String

Instructions:

1. Wrap the string around your neck to the desired tightness.

2. Cut the string where the two ends meet and use a ruler to measure the resulting length. That's your ideal necklace length.

Bracelets can be measured the exact same way.

Ring Size Guide:

Some of our rings are open rings — meaning they're one-size and can be opened and closed to the desired fit.

For closed rings, you'll need a size. Here are several ways to find yours:

Method 1 — Measure an existing ring

If you already own a ring that fits well, you can take it to any jewelry shop or stand and ask them to check its size. They'll be happy to help.

Method 2 — Measure ring size using a dedicated app

Measuring ring size with a dedicated mobile app is simple and convenient.

To do this, simply download the right app for your phone:

iPhone link — tap to download:

Ring Sizer

Install the app, then follow these instructions:

1. Place a ring you own on the phone screen.

2. Adjust the size of the circle on the screen to match the size of your ring.

3. The size shown on the screen is your size.

Method 3 — Measure the diameter of an existing ring

What you need:

  • Measuring tape / ruler
  • White sheet of paper
  • Pen or pencil

Instructions:

1. Place the ring on the sheet of paper.

2. With a pen or pencil, mark two points on the inner band of the ring, opposite each other.

3. Draw a straight line between the two points and measure its length with a ruler (in millimeters, not centimeters).

4. Use the table below to convert the ring's diameter in millimeters into your ring size.

For example, if the resulting line length is 17 mm, look at the conversion table — a 17 mm diameter is closest to ring size 54 (European sizes). That's your ring size!

Method 4 — Measure the circumference of your finger

(The least accurate and least recommended method; mainly relevant when you don't already own a ring in the size you want.)

What you need:

  • Measuring tape / ruler
  • A thin strip of paper
  • Pen or pencil

Instructions:

1. Cut a thin strip of paper — preferably straight and not too thick.

2. Wrap the paper strip around your finger and make sure the paper sits below the knuckle and close enough to the joint (the part connecting your finger to your hand).

3. Mark the point where the paper meets itself, and measure the resulting length with a ruler or measuring tape.

4. Use the table below to convert your finger's circumference into your ring size.

The following video shows you how to do the measurement:

Tips for measuring ring size:

  • Finger sizes on your right hand aren't always identical to those on your left.
  • Make sure your hand isn't too hot or too cold during measurement — fingers expand in heat and contract in cold. Best to measure at room temperature.
  • Measure the thicker part of the finger.
  • When measuring finger circumference, make sure the strip isn't too tight or too loose. Try to make it feel as you'd want the ring itself to feel on your finger.
  • If you're not sure of your size, it's preferable to choose a larger size (about half a size up) rather than smaller than what you measured.
